§ 17352 School Building Plan Approval

Key Takeaways

  • •If a company makes school buildings in a factory, they must show the government their plans and how much it will cost.
  • •The company must pay a fee to the government to check their plans. This fee is at least $50 and no more than 0.5% of the total cost of the building.
  • •The company must also pay back the government for any extra costs spent on checking the plans.

Example

A company wants to build a school using parts made in a factory.

The company must send their building plans and cost details to the government. They also have to pay a fee, which is at least $50 but not more than 0.5% of the total building cost. If the government spends more money checking the plans, the company has to pay that back too.
