§ 13247 District Director Election Rules

• •Groups can split their area into smaller parts called districts.
• •Each district picks its own representatives.
• •The rules must say how many representatives each district gets.
• •The rules must also explain how to change the districts or the number of representatives if needed.

A big farming group covers a whole state. They split the state into 5 areas. Each area picks 2 people to represent them. These 10 people then pick the main leaders for the whole group.

The group follows this law by splitting their area into smaller parts and letting each part choose their own representatives. These representatives then help pick the main leaders.
