§ 6632 Association Rule Validity

Key Takeaways

  • •Rules must be written down to be valid.
  • •Rules must be within the power of the group making them.
  • •Rules cannot go against the law or the group's own rules.
  • •Rules must be fair and made honestly.

Example

A neighborhood group makes a rule that says no one can park on the street.

This rule is only valid if it is written down, the group has the power to make parking rules, it doesn’t break any bigger laws, and it’s a fair rule made honestly.
