§ 4295 Condominium Plan Amendments

Key Takeaways

  • •To change or cancel a condo plan, everyone who originally signed it must agree and sign again.
  • •The new agreement must be officially recorded, like the first one.
  • •This rule started in 2013 but only became active in 2014.

Example

Imagine you and your neighbors all signed a paper to make your apartments into condos. Now, you all want to change how the parking spots are assigned.

Everyone who signed the first paper must sign a new one saying they agree to the change. Then, this new paper must be officially recorded, just like the first one.
