§ 7360 Mobile Unit Sanitation Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •If you own or work in a mobile unit (like a food truck), you can't let anyone live in it or use it in a way that makes it dirty or unsafe.
  • •The mobile unit must stay clean and safe for customers.
  • •This rule doesn't apply if the mobile unit is used for something else outside the area where it's allowed to work.

Example

A food truck owner lets their friend sleep in the truck overnight.

This is not allowed because the food truck must stay clean and safe for customers. Letting someone live in it could make it dirty or unsafe.
