§ 4934 Board Executive Officer Appointment

(a) The board, by and with the approval of the director, may appoint an executive officer who is exempt from the State Civil Service Act (Part 2 (commencing with Section 18500) of Division 5 of Title 2 of the Government Code). (b) This section shall remain in effect until January 1, 2028, and as of that date is repealed. (Amended by Stats. 2023, Ch. 682, Sec. 6. (AB 1264) Effective January 1, 2024. Repealed as of January 1, 2028, by its own provisions.)
