§ 4864 Wellness Committee Leadership Election

• •Every wellness committee must pick a leader (chairperson) and a backup leader (vice chairperson).
• •These leaders must be chosen from the people already in the committee.
• •This rule started on January 1, 2022.

A school has a wellness committee to plan healthy activities for students.

The committee members must vote to choose one person to be in charge (chairperson) and another to help out if the leader is away (vice chairperson).
