§ 4845 Probationary Registration Conditions

Key Takeaways

  • •The board can give a temporary license to someone with conditions, like going to rehab or not drinking alcohol.
  • •If you had a crime dismissed, show proof to the board—they’ll look at it more favorably.
  • •The board can change or end the conditions later if you ask them to.
  • •The temporary license lasts up to 3 years, and you have to follow rules like checking in every few months.

Example

Someone who had a past drug problem applies for a job license.

The board might give them a temporary license but say they have to go to rehab and take drug tests. If they follow the rules for 3 years, they can get a full license.
