§ 3152 Optometric License Fees

Key Takeaways

  • •The law sets the highest fees the board can charge for different licenses and permits for eye doctors.
  • •Fees include things like getting a new license, renewing a license, or getting special permits.
  • •If you pay late, you might have to pay extra money as a penalty.
  • •Some fees can go up a little if the board decides it’s needed.

Example

An eye doctor wants to renew their license but forgets to pay on time.

They have to pay the renewal fee of up to $500, plus a late fee of up to $50. So, they might end up paying $550 instead of $500.
