§ 2488 Podiatric License By Credentialing

Key Takeaways

  • •You can get a license to work as a foot doctor in this state if you already have a license in another state.
  • •You must have finished foot doctor school and passed big tests in the last 10 years.
  • •You need to finish extra training after school and pass any extra tests the state asks for.
  • •You can't have done bad things like crimes or messed up a lot at your job as a foot doctor.

Example

A foot doctor from New York wants to move to California and keep working.

If the doctor went to a good foot doctor school, passed the big tests, finished extra training, and never got in big trouble at work, California will let them work there too.
