§ 2151 National Board Medical Examiners Certificate

Key Takeaways

  • •If you passed a big national doctor test, you can get a doctor’s license in this state.
  • •Your test must have been just as hard as the state’s own doctor test.
  • •You have to apply, pay a fee, and prove you didn’t cheat or lie to pass the test.
  • •You can’t have done anything really bad (like crimes) that would stop you from being a doctor.

Example

A doctor moves to California after passing a national medical test in another state.

If the test they passed was just as tough as California’s, they can apply for a license here. They just need to fill out the forms, pay the fee, and show they didn’t cheat or break any big rules.
