§ 19064 License Denial For Suspensions

Key Takeaways

  • •If a company or group had their license taken away or suspended, they can't get a new one until it's fixed.
  • •If a boss or important person in the company had their own license taken away or suspended, the whole company might not get a license.
  • •If someone in charge was part of a different company that lost its license for breaking rules, the new company might not get a license either.

Example

A restaurant owner had their food license suspended for selling bad food. Now, they try to open a new restaurant with a friend.

The new restaurant might not get a license because the owner had a suspended license before. The government won’t let them open until the old problem is fixed.
