§ 12703 Weighmaster Licensing Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You need a special license to do certain weighing jobs (like weighing trucks or goods).
  • •You must pay the license fee and any fines before you can work as a weighmaster.
  • •If you have helpers (deputy weighmasters), you must tell the government their names and pay their fees too.

Example

If you want to weigh big trucks at a factory to make sure they’re not too heavy for the road.

You can’t just do it—you need a license first, and you have to pay for it. If you don’t, you could get in trouble.
