• •This law does not change the power of the Financial Protection and Innovation boss under the old 1968 securities law.
• •The old 1968 securities law still applies as before—this new law doesn’t override it.
• •Deals under this law are not considered the same as selling stocks or investments that need approval from the Real Estate boss.

A company wants to sell shares of a new housing project to investors.

This law says that even if the company follows the new rules, it doesn’t mean they can skip the old rules about selling investments. They still need to follow the 1968 securities law and don’t have to get extra permission from the Real Estate boss just because it’s about housing.
